The Garden at Gray Gables Wedding Recap

Alex  & Jess held their big day at The Gardens at Gray Gables in Greensboro, NC. Great venue with lots of room to roam around between the Ceremony, Cocktail Hour & Reception!

For their Cocktail hour, they chose a customized playlist of soft rock featuring music by Adele, Jack Johnson, & Hunter Hayes to name a few.

After Cocktails, it was time for the guests to head over to the main Reception tent and Introductions of the VIP’s. “All You Need Is Love” by The Beatles was selected for Introductions. Alex & Jess came in to “Crazy Love” by Aaron Neville. They chose to go right into their First Dance as everyone looked on. “Have I Told You Lately” by Rod Stewart was chosen.

It was then time for  Dinner. They chose a selection of tunes by Ingrid Michaelson, Billy Currington & Garth Brooks to set the mood. After some sweet Toasts, it was time for the Cake Cutting. “How Sweet It Is” by James Taylor was selected.

The Anniversary Dance then kicked off Open Dancing. A special Family Song was chosen for the two families to gather and dance. They chose Rod Stewart’s “When I Need You” for this special moment.

From there, it was a great Dance party with Classic 80’s and 90’s party music as well as some throwbacks and lots of hits from today including the new Iggy Azalea song “Fancy” which was a big hit on Saturday.

Thanks again to Alex & Jess for having me!
