Being in touch with today’s music is part of what makes us unique. Sure, the classics are always a sure thing, but it’s just as important to be hip and modern and staying on top of the music scene. Here are some newer artists that can satisfy the young and old at your next event.
√The Black Keys-If you’re on the rocker side of things, The Black Keys can satisfy your alternative/indie/blues craving. Try out If You Ever Slip for a nice feel that harkens back to the 90’s grunge era.
√Maroon 5-Alright, they’re not new, but their sound is extremely recognizable and most of their songs are PERFECT for the cocktail hour. Sunday Morning is one of our personal favorites.
√Mumford and Sons-Speaking of Folk music, these gentlemen have brought this sound back to the forefront. They’ve even helped similar artists like The Lumineers to the mainstream. The song “Sigh No More” is a good taste of what this group is all about.
√Bruno Mars-He writes feel good music and his lyrics are spot-on. He can satisfy the guys and girls with his sound. Marry You makes you want to tap your foot while sipping on your favorite beverage.
√Calvin Harris-Another producer/DJ/, this Scottish talent has helped bring dance music to the mainstream. He continues to produce fist pumping favorites like “This Is What You Came For” and “Promises”.
√Zedd-He’s close to a household name, but if you don’t know the name, chances are you’ve heard some of his hits like “The Middle” with Maren Morris and “Stay” with Alessia Cara.
These artists have been remixed countless times by other producers and DJ’s. Chances are we’ve heard of a particular remix that you might be familiar with. We can incorporate your favorites into the soundtrack of your night!
